Rural Life Resources Community Development Corporation is a proud subsidiary of Kingdom Life Church & Ministries, located in the beautiful city of Orangeburg, SC, under the leadership of Bishop James L, Rowson, Jr. Kingdom Life Church & Ministries is a holistic organization dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of our community. It was through this commitment to service that the vision for Rural Life Resources CDC was born.
Our mission is to use Rural Life Resources CDC as a bridge to provide essential support and resources, specifically for our Creative Arts Academy for Children and Young Adults, Senior Citizens Program, and Workforce Training Program. This initiative reflects our passion for empowering individuals and fostering growth in every stage of life.
Our Services
Creative Arts Academy for Children and Young Adults
The Arts Academy program aims to provide children and youth with a platform to explore and nurture their artistic gifts and talents. As arts programs are gradually being phased out of many educational systems, our children are losing valuable opportunities to engage in the arts. Our mission is to bridge this gap by offering an Arts Academy that fosters creativity and ensures access to enriching artistic experiences.
Senior Citizens
Program
Our goal is to provide a warm and inclusive space where senior citizens can connect, form meaningful relationships, and participate in activities that nurture both social and physical well-being. The program will offer opportunities for physical fitness, group outings, and shared meals, all designed to cultivate a strong sense of community and personal enrichment.
Workforce Training
Program
Our Workforce Training Program is dedicated to reducing recidivism by equipping ex-offenders with the skills and resources needed for successful workforce reentry. By collaborating with local businesses and penal institutions, we aim to provide comprehensive training and support to ensure participants are job-ready. This includes supplying essential items like clothing and uniforms, as well as offering soft skills training to help individuals confidently integrate into the workforce.
